65MM SPINDLE MOTOR MOUNT

Problem 1) The 80mm x 65mm clamping surface made for unequal weight distribution



Problem 2) The base width was too wide. Almost (5 inches wide) to mount on the z axis for our taig, router



Problem 3) Safe adjustability once the 3 screws were loosed up on the cast clamp the heavy motor slipped quickly and it was difficult to retighten without a 2nd person holding the motor



Problem 4) The bore of the cast mount was not accurate and the spindle alignment was slightly off



We solved the above problem by making two clamps from solid billet aluminum (made on new Hurco cnc equipment)



The clamps are cut too mate to Taig’s dove tail plate



Fits right on Taig mill or any other equipment using the optional dove tail plate



The dove tail plate is 4.5 inches long 2.25” wide with 1”x1” centers the mount is adjustable and easy to use



The clamp is 3” wide at the base, 3.6” at the widest point about 4” high
